USAF adopts new fitness test scoring

WASHINGTON - The Air Force will require only pushups, situps and a 1.5-mile run when physical fitness testing resumes July 1 using a new scoring breakdown, the service announced. Pushups and situps will now be worth 20 points each, up 10 points, and the 1.5-mile run will remain worth 60 points.
