Saturday, Oct. 16: Superhero Adventure Party

Lakewood Community Center

By Volcano Staff on October 14, 2010

Anything that parents can do to keep their kids on the straight and narrow is nothing to poke fun at, even (we suppose) if that includes the Pierce County Parks and Recreation-sponsored Superhero Party at Lakewood Community Center this Saturday. Encouraging the kids  - and parents, if brave enough - to don the cape and tights of their favorite superhero, the safe and sane superhero party will "keep your little ones grinning from ear to ear," and offer all participants "Hero souvenirs, 'special powers' punch/snack, and guaranteed TONS OF FUN!"

PREDICTION: The "'special powers' punch/snack" will unlock the ability in most 5 year olds to run around in circles like a possessed banshee. Coincidentally, it's the same effect Lucky Charms has on kids.
