Thursday, Oct. 27: Comedy In A Box

Washington Center for the Performing Arts

By Volcano Staff on October 26, 2011

Back for its fourth season, the Washington Center for the Performing Arts' Comedy in the Box series opens this year's schedule Thursday with comedian Eddie Ifft. Known around the world - thanks in large part to tireless touring - Ifft has achieved a comedy career of moderate success through many mediums, from podcasts to stand-up to radio and beyond. Ifft's resume is about as eclectic as they come, billed in pre-event hype as a comedian who has "hosted Shark Week, spent a season as the ABC College Football Guy, earned a job as ‘man-on-the-street' on the Queen Latifah show, and was co-host of a sports radio show on New York's legendary WNEW."
