At the end of the month, the University of Puget Sound welcomes the Race and Pedagogy National Conference, which be centered on the theme "Teaching and Learning for Justice: Danger and Opportunity in Our Critical Moment." In conjunction with the conference, the Grand Cinema will kick off their Race and Pedagogy Film Series running Oct. 22-28, a week of films investigating questions of race and education - with facilitated public discussions after most screenings.
