Think all pianists - especially pianists schooled in the likes of Beethoven, Bach and Chopin - are lame and stuffy? Think again. Billed as a "rare phenomenon," and a "wonderfully gifted artist and conductor whose dreadlocks and style complement (his) incredible talent, charisma and showmanship," Pratt seems certain to leaves mouths agape and ears begging for more.
[Pantages Theater, 7:30 p.m., $19-$52, 901 Broadway, Tacoma, 253.591.5890]
